Co-creation, integration & partnership awards at first Int. Synconnect Summit!

The majestic Merksplas Chapel recently hosted the first edition of International Synconnect Summit. Eyecatchers were the presentation of the Outstanding Partnership Awards and the launch of the Synguard Mobile app, which can be used for user management, network elements, RT monitoring and QR code access control.

This well-attended International Synconnect Summit was organised by Synguard Belgium in collaboration with technology partners STid, Commuty, Idesco, Network Optix, Simons Voss, Assa Abloy, Milestone, Deister and Digifort. ‘We welcome to this event Installation partners, technology partners as well as end customers from the Netherlands and the UK, but also from France, Spain, Finland and Ireland.’ The Synguard open access management platform also links other security systems within 1 uniform web interface. From fire and intrusion detection to locker, camera and lift management - everything is housed in 1 platform. This ensures smart and efficient management of a building.

Cloud business in 4 years x 10

Over the 2020-2024 period, Synguard was able to record many highlights. Overall growth in business activity was 52%. ‘Growth in the new cloud business was increased tenfold in this period - in euro terms. The number of certified resellers almost doubled. In the UK, Synguard UK LTD was established and a local team started up. Thanks to the policy of the right man on the right place and the company's solid structure, the number of employees increased by 56 per cent. Synguard also secured ISO 27001 certification,’ said Bert Meert, Managing Director of Synguard. . Furthermore, there are distinguished developments in the areas of security, encryption and authentication.’ Going forward, Synguard wants to invest in local teams and expand the reseller network with the right strategic partners. Furthermore, the company plans to invest in new products and certifications to offer an appropriate product offering in the Netherlands, the UK and Ireland. Strategic partnerships are also being explored in other regions. Synguard aims to strengthen its position as a leading manufacturer of an open, flexible and leading platform. 

Outstanding Partnership awards

The first Synguard partnerships - with the firms Trium Security and Xserius (now Bosch Energy & Building Solutions) - date back to 2009. There are now 27 Synguard partners, divided into 3 categories: Certified, Advanced and Added Value Partners. In these partnerships, the focus is on training within the company in question. On the occasion of this Synconnect Summit, Outstanding Partnership awards were presented for the first time by Tom Janssens, Partner Manager Synguard Belgium, and Wesley Heiden, Country Manager Synguard Netherlands. This in three categories: Booming SAAS, Co-marketing and Co-creation.

Synguard mobile

Access management has long transcended physical security. ‘With its Access to the Future open access control platform, Synguard aims to improve and manage the access flows in an organisation as a whole, making them more efficient, more secure and delivering a better user experience.
